Fee Schedule
Vital Records Fees
- Birth Records (Certified)
- $10.00 for the first certified copy, $2.00 for each additional received at the same time.
- (Application must be completed with photo identification of applicant)
- Birth records may only be obtained by the individual whose record is being requested, or their parent. (Applicant must be 18 or older to receive their birth certificate.)
- Death Records (Certified)
- $10.00 for the first certified copy, $4.00 for each additional received at the same time.
- (Application must be completed. Only a person, or his duly authorized agent, having a genealogical, personal or property right interest may apply for a death record.)
- Marriage Records (Certified)
- $10.00 for the first certified copy, $2.00 for each additional received at the same time.
- Marriage License Fee
- $25.00
- Applicants at least 18 years of age may apply without parental consent. No one under the age of 16 may apply for a marriage license. Applicants 16-17 years of age may apply, but must have signed consent of both parents of the underaged applicant, and a certified birth certificate.
- (Photo identification is required of the applicants as well as parents giving consent.)
- No blood test is required.
- License valid the day after it is issued to be used in Williamson County only.
- Applicants must use the license within 60 days or return them to the county clerk's office. Fee is refunded IF the license is returned unused within the 60 day period.
